Avis Long term rental - Terms and Conditions

When renting long term with Avis Finland, the terms and conditions below are followed as well as Avis Finland's General Terms and Conditions of rental and bookings.

Long-term rental conditions

• The services and fares presented on this site apply to consumer rentals only.
• Long-term rental fares cannot be combined with other offers or promotions unless otherwise mentioned.
• The availability of the service and car models varies depending on the location and booking situation. Reservations are made by car class. The car shown on the pages is an example of a model belonging to the car class. We cannot guarantee the availability of a specific car model.
• The pickup time depends on the selected pickup location and its service hours. The customer should check the service hours of the pickup location under Contact information.
• The customer sends an inquiry about the availability of a specific car class from this page. The reservation is not made until the customer receives a reservation confirmation from Avis. The answer will be given within two working days, and long-term reservations cannot be made for a shorter notice period.
• The price includes the number of kilometers per month mentioned in the offer. Kilometers exceeding this amount cost €0.21/km (incl. VAT 25.5%).
• The price includes damage and theft insurance and limited roadside assistance. Limited roadside assistance helps with technical problems with the car. The excess varies depending on the car class and is mentioned in the offer.
• The minimum rental period for long-term offers is 31 days, after which the agreement can be extended for one month (30 days) at a time by contacting customer service reservations(at)avisbudget.fi or tel. +358 10 436 2200.
• The price shown on the website is the price for 30 days. The price is valid for the period selected at the time of rental. If the customer continues the rental beyond the period selected at the time of rental, we reserve the right to review the price.
• The rental is charged monthly. The deposit for each rental month is made at the beginning of the period. The deposit is equal to or slightly larger than the monthly rent. The deposit for each month is released from the customer's account after a month. The release may take several banking days, depending on the bank connection.
• The vehicle is under customer's responsibility until the car is returned to the rental company and the rental company has the opportunity to check the condition of the vehicle.
• The vehicle may only be handed over to a person with a valid driving license living in the same household. However, the person named in the rental agreement is responsible for the car.
